Strauch Petite Drum Carder

A belt-driven 6.5" drum carder, perfect for the handspinner who does not card large amounts. Carder has an MDF frame with oak grain and maple cross-members. Small drum is adjustable and sports "slicker-licker" cloth. Carding cloth is extra fine (128 tpi) to handle fine, medium and coarse fibers. Comes with a sliding in-feed tray. Complete with Knuckle-Saver-Batt-Picker, doffer brush, dabber brush and table clamp. 

Note: this model cannot be motorized because it is a light duty machine and not constructed to withstand the stresses imparted by a motor.
