I've had my Curio for a week or two. It's a lot more challenging than my Cameo, but I can foresee being able to do more projects than I could have imagined. The first difficulty is managing two different tools in two different positions. It takes more thought before hitting the cut button to prevent mistakes. The process of embossing seems a bit more difficult, as well. I've tried half a dozen embossing projects on three or so different types of paper with different settings (and both embossing tips) and I'll need to keep playing with it to discover the perfect combinations. I've been able to ink, emboss, and cut the same design, and I've also done another on which I was very happy with felt tip ink and embossing. My suggestion would be to approach the Curio after watching the available you tube videos, keep the instruction manual open, and take it slowly. I'm really looking forward to being able to use the new mats, blades, and media as they're available.
