Shipping policy

We at My Sewing Mall Online are keen on making our delivery process as quick and pleasant as possible because we know how important it is that your goods arrive on time and that you are satisfied with the delivered goods. Please note our Delivery Policy for all our online orders:

For Order Of Ricoma/Renaissance Machine:

  • The lead time for all commercial embroidery machines is 2-months after 100% advance payment is received and the freight charge is calculated on the volumetric weight of your ordered machine. The transit time can vary depending on if you opt for the machine to be shipped by Sea or Air.

For Orders Within UAE:

  • We, therefore, request all our customers to give 2-3 working days as a general rule of thumb for you to receive your order from My Sewing Mall
  • If you live in remote areas in the UAE, the shipping might take up to 4-5 working days. Shipping rates MIGHT change for larger shipments to remote areas. We will communicate with you if you are shopping from a remote location in the UAE.

Note the following cases, where there might be delays in you receiving your shipment

  • You do not answer the call the courier calls at the time of delivery- couriers do not want to deliver items to the wrong address and in this scenario, they will re-deliver only when you answer your call. Please ensure you keep an eye on the phone number you provide in your order so you do not miss out on the delivery day.
  • Order changes - if some items are not available (we do work on keeping actual stock numbers but for items like certain sewing machines that are high in demand, there could be changes). 

We request clients to be patient with order delivery delays. They occur very rarely, and we always try our best to give you the fastest door-to-door service. 

Delivery Rates Within the UAE

  1. For all CASH on DELIVERY orders, we charge a fee of AED 30.00 per order shipment. Please note we do not accept cash payments for orders over AED 300.
  2. For all Industrial Sewing Machines and Domestic Sewing Machine, we prefer to receive 100% advance payment.

  4. Remote area clients - Delivery policies are different. Kindly contact us before you place your order to clarify on delivery feasibility.

Outside the UAE: Kuwait, Qatar, Oman and Bahrain

The shipping rates for Kuwait, Qatar, Oman and Bahrain will be calculated on the volumetric weight of the goods. 

  1. Please Note - Sewing Machines will always be on the quote, which means after you add to the cart and complete your order, we will provide the shipping rate for your machine as a separate billing (as we will have to obtain quotes for your selected sewing machine)
  2. Lead time for Delivery- 6-10 working days on average.
  3. Please note - UAE 5% tax will calculate on shipping as we are opting for Road Transport. Courier services will exempt you from this tax, but we will opt to charge shipping different based on order value and parcel dimensions and export documentation cost. 

Rest of the World:

At checkout, shipping will state TO BE QUOTED.

We will obtain our best shipping rate to you, for door-to-door delivery and insured, so that you can safely acquire your products. Confirmation and payment through bank transfer of 100% payment of shipping rate will be required before we ship out your order!
